About Caitlin

Where connection
meets craft

I'm Caitlin Ascher, and I have been photographing people and their dogs for over a decade. What draws me to this work is the connection: the unscripted moments between a person and the animal that knows them best. My approach blends genuine emotion with a fine art sensibility, resulting in images that feel both deeply personal and beautifully crafted.

Beyond dogs and their people, I also work with families and equine subjects, bringing the same eye for authenticity to every session. Whether we are chasing golden light through the woods or capturing the quiet power of a horse in motion, my goal is always the same: images that feel true to who you are.

Before we ever meet on location, I like to connect over email or social media to talk through your vision, your pets, and what you are hoping to walk away with. Sessions are scheduled closer to sunrise or sunset, when the light is at its most beautiful and the energy feels just right.
